Ok. Here it goes, another long ramble about what I am doing. But isn't that what blogs are for?
ok, so i was pretty excited and well entertained this morning, because two of my favorite Star Trek episodes were on and i watched them, and then right after they were over Confessions of a Shopoholic came on, and i was like, AWESOME, and i watched it tilll lunch. then AFTER lunch, i had nothing to do, so i decided to read my book, and heres the problem with that. Normally, there would be no problem, as i love to read. But here's where the problem-ish stuff makes its entrance.
1: the book i am reading is hopelessly short;
2:also hopelessly good..
3: so therefore, it is hopeless to think i will spend more than a day reading it because its so hopelessly good i just want to read it all in one sitting. and it is only friday, which leaves me three days until we get back to school ( oh my god, i actually had to think about that for a moment, that really shows my propensity for math there) and i can get the next book at the library. So. Not that anyone particularly CARES, but there you are. and i think ill go on about it for a bit more...
so you guys know i have an ereader, if you read my christmas post a few months ago, (or if i told you), and you should also know it is the awesomest piece of tech since the TV. in two minutes, you can find a book, purchase it, (for less than youd pay for the non digital version, i might add) and then you can read it! presto- changeo, instant boredom cure! now, you see, theres a problem with that too. its this... if the book you down load onto it isnt a substantially long book... well, then, you finish it in a day and you have to download more books. Wow.
you know, i only started the books in this problematic series because it was on my list for books i could do for my book report, and since i opted to do that the first day we got back from break (banging my head against the wall in remembrance of that brainless move) i had to already own the book to read it in time. And then when i finished it, i remembered why i had bought it in the first place, because despite the fact it reads like it was written for people way below my readinig level, which it was, (that was a bit of shameless bragging there, ill admit) it still has an awesome story line. And we come back full circle to wanting to read the sequel and totally not being able to. WHY am i telling you this? well, the attempt to stay away from my book and not finish up the 20 or so pages left in it, and therefore trying fruitlessly to prolong my enviable status of having a book to read, has made me divert myself to this. and in a few minutes, when i log off, ill just go back to reading again... ugh. if i knew the emoticon for frustration, id insert it here.
ps im eating this hideous orange gum that is only good for the first few minutes you chew it, and the nearest garbage can is all the way out in the kitchen, so i cant spit it out because i am woefully loathe to get up...ugh. ridiculous.
Mwa Ha ha ha!!!!
